Eyes: Dark, almost black, but she wears blue-tinted contacts to hide the non-human look of them.

Hair: White-blonde, more white than anything. She's added low-lights to help disguise her appearance.

Age: Approximately 16. They didn't exactly celebrate birthdays in the GenTex lab where she was created and raised for the first six years of her life. :)

Family: --adoptive father: Mark Tucker --birth mother: unknown human female --genetic source: extraterrestrial body found and preserved after the incident at Roswell in 1947.

Random Fact: French fries are her favorite food. Actually, pretty much any fried potato product will do.

Character Highlight - Asha from Echo by Alicia Wright Brewster! (Giveaway)

The countdown clock reads ten days until the end of the world. The citizens are organized. Everyone's been notified and assigned a duty. The problem is . . . no one knows for sure how it will end.

Energy-hungry Mages are the most likely culprit. They travel toward a single location from every corner of the continent. Ashara, mostly known as "Asha" throughout ECHO, is an eighteen-year- old who just found out she's an Ethereal—meaning she can manipulate ether. Ever since her brother died at the hands of a Mage, Asha has been itching for revenge. When she's called to the Council to join the Ethereal task force, she's both terrified and thrilled. On the one hand, she's not trained for this. With the countdown clock ticking downward, maybe she has no business on the task force. On the other hand, she may finally get the chance for the revenge she's been craving.

I chose Nathalie Emmanuel to represent Asha. Asha's family has a Caucasian background, but her late father had African ancestry.

Alicia Wright Brewster is a mild-mannered lady of average height and above average paranormal obsession. By day, she works in an office. At night she is an author, an electronics junkie, and a secret superhero. (Please don't ask what her superpower is; that's not very polite.)

In her virtually non-existent free time, she loves to read, watch movies, and eat food. She is particularly fond of the food-eating and makes a point to perform this task at least three times per day, usually more.
